We check: returned changed lines for supported credential patterns and risky configuration patterns, plus changes to CI, ownership, dependencies and deployment files.
We don’t: execute code, interpret all program behavior, expand inherited CI or scan unchanged files. Missing, binary or truncated diffs mean partial coverage.
Your data: your browser reads the public MR directly from GitLab on demand; no token is requested. We do not save reports or raw diffs in an application database, and never display credential matches. Hosting infrastructure may retain standard request logs.
